WE BELIEVE IN EMPOWERING THE BOY CHILD

Hosted on the 18th of December in the Capital ,Harare for the 6th time I a row ,the annual Mister Zimbabwe pageant’s 6th edition has been regarded by members of the public as a well organised and developed event.

Some followers of the event, stating that the event organisers are learning year after year which mistakes they are to correct.

Interacting with one of the organisers Mercy Mushaninga, who is the co-founder of Mister Zimbabwe pageant, he said believing that the boychild’s dream will be come true one day has inspired them to host a successful event .

Mushaninga also added that the event has changed a number of models in the modeling sector, especially those that have taken part in Mister Zimbabwe .“What makes us to keep going is passion .What we want and need to see is the boy child being empowerment.

“The pageant is a national event we have seen that it has changed a lot of people’s lives as the Kings have excelled into other levels,to us this is an achievement and that is what we want to see and for that to continue in future,” she said.

She further said they are hoping to inspire many who want to establish male modeling pageants , to host pageants in a professional way. As the goal is to empower the boy-child’s dreams. Mushaninga thanked all those who have been supporting the industry for the past six years, especially parents of the participants.
Mister Zimbabwe organisers are hoping the next event to have improved compared to the six events that they have hosted.Among their 2023 goals is to reach to the ghetto, rural areas and across the country and to continue supporting the boy-child in all angles.

Lastly,Mercy pleaded with parents to support their boy child’s dreams .She said by allowing the boy child to follow his dreams will help in avoiding more cases of substance abuse and gender based violence.
