THE SECRET BEHIND MY ACHIEVEMENT IS …

Have you ever wondered what is the secret behind Pauline Marere’s success in the modeling career.

After winning Miss Culture International title, we interacted with Pauline about the secret of her success in her modeling industry, her response was ‘faith and prayer’ were part of her recipe.

“The secret of winning any pageant is prayer,I have learnt to trust in God and it has been working for me. Determination and hard-working comes after and also I am one person who sets goals and make it a point to achieve them,”she informed .

Pauline’s achievements began during her , heydays when she Bagan to win crowns when she was pursuing her primary education she then went to win more crowns when she went to University and now she is winning national and international titles.

Currently the lastest title she won is is Miss Culture International ,1st runner up and in addition she won four awards during the pageant which was held on the 4th of December at Gold Beef City in South Africa .Pauline informed that by taking part at the pageant, she wanted to share with the world about her culture and the importance of culture .

“I have always had a passion for African pageants .I love anything that has Africa on it.Also coming from royal family where culture is preserved a lot I felt this was an opportunity for me to impact my generation on the importance of culture.

“This platform goes hand in hand with the project which I did during my reing as Miss Heritage Zimbabwe where by I was visiting primary schools and educating children about Heritage and culture,”she highlighted.

Pauline’s journey to Miss Culture International was sponsored by Scott Foundation ZW, Pretty by Sindy,Debaba Shalom,Banquet designs,Mashmac Machena,Life Matunzeni,Farai Zembeni, Ashely Morgan,Belinda Potts, Ashely Muchena and her family and friends.

The Queen of pageants advised other female models to first research and investigate the history of the pageants that they want to take part in .As pageants are not about beauty only however about knowledge.

“Get groomed as much as you can because a queen is seen through the way she speaks, eat, laugh, interact with others etc. Also models should research on the pageants that they want to participate in, it’s values, background, mission and other related topics. Its not a matter of just being beautiful but the brain should be there as well. Lastly your wardrobe should be on point.

They say first impression counts so from the first day you arrive you must look gorgeous up until the day you leave. Your stage wadrop must be well done as well and it must tell a story about you, your country and your future aspirations too,”advised Pauline

Pauline is hoping to take part at Miss World and Miss Universe in future in terms of which tourism resort she is planning to spend her Holidays is at Dubai .

“I have received tremendous support from other country directors who attended Miss Culture international eg Zambia and also a lady from Botswana who have decidedly to take it upon themselves to send me to Miss Universe or Miss World in 2022.

“Therefore that’s the goal and the preparations are starting right away. I believe it’s time now for me to face my childhood dream,”she informed .
