Former Mister Africa International Winner Emmanuel Umoh returns as Judge for the 12th Edition

Emmanuel Umoh was announced as one of the judges who are set to identify the next Mister Africa International in the 12th edition.
Which is on going in Sierra Leone thid weekend.

Emmanuel Umoh arrived in Sierra Leone during the preliminaries of Mister Africa International and has been engaging with the models during their preliminaries.

Emmanuel Umoh is a Nigerian model and entrepreneur who made history by becoming the first Nigerian to win the Mister Africa International title in 2019.

He was also the winner of Mr. Ideal Nigeria in 2019, which earned him the right to represent Nigeria at the Mister Africa International pageant.
This placed his name and brand on map both in modeling and social life.

As a model, Emmanuel has had a successful career, walking international runways, including the Mercedes Benz Global Fashion Week, Seychelles Fashion Week, and Ghana Menswear Week. He’s also been featured on magazine covers, including Twitch Fitness Magazine.

Emmanuel is also an entrepreneur, owning a fitness center and a unisex salon and spa in Port Harcourt.

He’s a Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Port Harcourt and has been recognized for his achievements, including being named one of the 50 Shapers of the New Decade by YNaija.

In 2021, Emmanuel participated in the Big Brother Naija reality TV show, where he gained more recognition and popularity.

He’s active on social media, with handles on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.

As a judge on Sunday Emmanuel will be joined by other six judges.

Mister Africa International Zimbabwe representative, Future Nyoni’s national costume is a masterpiece designed by Jay Thakaya, a talented local Zimbabwean designer from Victoria Falls. The costume is made from raw materials such as cardboard papers and iron wires, incorporating recycled materials to promote a “waste not, want not” campaign and raise awareness about the importance of sustainability and environmental conservation.

The costume features a majestic bird headpiece in white, symbolizing peace and unity, with intricately designed attached wings on the back. The bird represents Africans coming together to spread peace, love, and unity within the continent, and the wings signify the strength and resilience of the African people. The bird’s headpiece is adorned with intricate patterns and designs, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Zimbabwe.

Future Nyoni also wears a traditional cheetah skin, which is a symbol of bravery, strength, and royalty, traditionally worn by the Zulu tribe, one of Africa’s largest and most prominent tribes. The cheetah skin adds a touch of cultural authenticity and heritage to the costume, while also highlighting Future Nyoni’s connection to his African roots. The cheetah skin is draped elegantly around Future Nyoni’s shoulders, adding a regal touch to the overall costume.

The costume also features a flowing black leatherette fabric, signifying the black unity and strength within Africa. This bold and striking fabric adds a dramatic touch to the overall design, while also highlighting the importance of African unity and solidarity.

Overall, the national costume is a stunning representation of Zimbabwe’s rich cultural heritage, its commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation, and its people’s resilience and strength. The costume is a true masterpiece, showcasing the creativity, talent, and craftsmanship of Zimbabwean designers.

‘Prince’ Roland is set to make history as the inaugural  Mister Heritage Zim

Deriving from one of wonders of the world,where arts sector is finding it’s new home and where tourism sector is the main priority in the residents day to day lives. 

Roland Mzamba well known as the Prince of the Majestic city of Victoria Falls,is set to represent his hometown and the Matabeleland Province at the Inagural of Mister Heritage Zimbabwe which is set to be hosted in Harare on the 22nd of December at Harare Showgrounds. 

Mzamba who is inspired by international models, who include Future Nyoni and Tino Chinyani . 

Is not a newbie  in the modelling,he has previously contested in othe national pageants such as Mister International Zimbabwe. 

And he has managed to place his name in the modeling map by taking part in modeling as in runway  as well as in pageantry. 

Currently during his journey in becoming the first-ever ,Mister Heritage Zimbabwe,Roland kicked off his charity community work in a positive direction .

As his charity-community work was inspired by the SDG4 also know as Quality Education . 

” I’m advocating for SDG4 number 4 which talks about quality education for all and I believe education is key to success and I’m looking for individuals, cooperate organizations and other well wishers to help me give 1 student 1 book, 1 pen, 1 pencil and 1 ruler to give to the school children in Rural communities (schools),”said Roland. 

He informed that, he began his community work with a project that he introduced in one of the  local schools within his province and he plans in extending the same project in at least four schools with his province. 

“I have started implementing my project in schools like Masuwe primary school but I have been doing it in a small scale and my dream is to give to 4 primary school in my region, the community has reacted quite good because they know that their children are starting their careers at a early stage of their lives,”said Mzamba.

Roland said,his contesting for the title because his beliefs, mission as well as vision are alligned with the goals of Mister Heritage Zimbabwe. 

And working together with the brand will be the greatest  achievement for his community and the country.

“Participating in this contest because I think I have the same values as this organization rooted in deep desire to advocate for the needy and I also think that our culture is slowly but becoming forgotten and I want to talk about the importance of cultural tourism which contribute in our GDP,”clarified Mzamba. 

Talking to the media during the interview Roland indicated that he has faced numerous challenges the prominent one which has been common in the male modelling sector is sponsorship. 

“Preparation have been a little bit frustrating because of the creative’s that are not keen in partnership as I am preparing for the longest journey of my life,”he said. 

A Royal treatment to kings ~#Togetherwecan

Multi-award winning international model ,Future Nyoni arrived in Sierra Leone on Friday last week to contest for the title Mister Africa International .

He is among 20 models who are battling to succeed Nigerian model Rickie, who won the title during a virtual competition which was contested last year.
Which saw King Future Nyoni be awarded he 1st runner up position.

This year,King Nyoni has been campaigning under the slogan #togetherwecan.

He uses the slogan to encourage everyone across Africa to participate in Mister Africa International’s ceremony .
The slogan has been on trending on social media platforms such as facebook;X,Instagram and threads.

King Future is also using the same slogan,for his charity and community work as he believe if every country is included on board and no one is left behind. The continent will be a better place to be.

During his arrival he was welcomed by Mister Africa International directors from Sierra Leone.

In an exclusive interview,King Nyoni said that he was well received in Sierra Leone and they (other delegates) are being treated like kings.

“I was warmly welcomed in Sierra Leone, I felt at home away from home. I have placed the country in my bucket list as one of the countries when I get coronated as King to make a come back and not only tour but conduct my charity work.

“Other delegates and myself are Kings and the pageant organisers have given us a royal hospitality along with the resident’s of Sierra Leone. I will recommend any one who wants to visit Africa to make a stop here in Freetown,”said King Nyoni.

The multi award winning,Mister Africa International Zimbabwe informed that he is not facing any language barrier.

He is enjoying learning Other countries language especially French.And he added,that its an added advantage for him to learn the French language which is the most spoken language in the Sahel region where his planning to expand his charity community work of supporting children who are persuing their studies during civil wars.

“No language barrier,we are one big family. My roommate is from Mali. He speaks French as well as other delegates.

“I am here to win the title as well to learn other people’s languages and culture. My project of constructing classrooms in refuge camps is not citied in English speaking countries. But also in French speaking classrooms.

He further gave an example of the project he is campaigning for on behalf of PAWA foundation in a DRC ,North Kivu which is a French speaking area.

“For example in DRC where I am advocating for donar funding for PAWA FOUNDATION in North Kivu region.It’s an English-French region.I am actually the happiest person in this competition currently,”he said.

Future encouraged the world to support him in this journey as he has pleadged that his win will assist him to help those who are seeking education in war zone areas and also his aiming in creating regional youth hubs.

The finals of Mister Africa International will be held on the 22nd of December in Freetown.

On going Mister Africa International pageant,is running in the theme ‘strength  and pride’  is set to have its main stage to be held on the 12th of December closing its curtains on the 22nd of December. 

The fastest-growing male African pageant will host at least 20 delegates from across Africa, coming from North ,East,South,West and islands of Africa.Making every part of Africa to be represented. 

During the preliminaries which were held months before the 12th of December . 

Models have been engaging in several preliminary  competitions, such as Introduction videos, Country Choice voting as well as African body video. 

In an exclusive interview with the CEO of Mister Africa International,Ayotunde Twitch he said the jury has identified who will be honoured in each category as he stated the categories to be awarded. 

The announcements are  set to be made from the 1st of December until the third of the same month before the main event.

“This year we’re honoring our participants with five special awards:

Body of Africa: For the contestant with the best physique.

Heart of Africa: For exceptional charity work.

Model of Africa: For the delegate with the most model-worthy attributes.

Continental King: A new award for one of the runners-up.

Tourism King: Also new this year, recognizing the runner-up most dedicated to promoting Africa’s tourism potential.

“Additionally, we’ll be introducing:Camaraderie of africa : For the most friendly and supportive contestant.

And Content Master of africa : For outstanding use of creativity and technology to tell their story.

These awards reflect our commitment to recognizing the multifaceted talents and qualities of our contestants,”said Twitch.  

Quality  Education For All -Commemoration of Regional Children’s  Day

From the 15th to the 17th of November the three days were set aside as Regional World Children’s day and the main commemorations were held in the majestic city of Victoria Falls. 

Which is the home town of the reigning Mister Africa International Zimbabwe,King Future Nyoni.

Delegates from several countries who included :Botswana,Malawi,Mozambique,Namibia,South Africa and Zimbabwe were present inlcuding Zimbabwe and Botswana’s heads of state,President Mnangagwa and President Boko respectively.

This year the event was running under the theme,”Educate and Skill the African Child for Posterity”.

In an eclusive interview with King Future Nyoni he expressed excitement about the recognition of this day and having it being hosted in his town by regional leaders. 

“November is a unique month for all of us,its a month on which we are advised to play our roles together to develop our  continent.One of our duties is to advocate and implicate for the right of quality education for all children particularly in Africa,”he said. 

King Nyoni further added,that it was ironically that education for all especially to children who are affected by wars and climate change.

Has been his agenda as he is working with several NGOs across the continent in making sure that the vision is successful

He also said,having one of the Heads of States attending such a commemoration of advocating and supporting the rights of children it means his on the right track. 

“One of my visions under the banner #togetherwecan,is working with NGOs across the continent in constructing temporary infastructures that will be used as classrooms for children. 

“I am motivated and inspired that our leaders are not only advocating for the silencing of guns in the continent and ending child solider system in an aim to protect the rights of children.Howvever they are participating in advocating also in implimating right of quality education,”said Nyoni.

During the main event ceremony on the 17th of November,children delegation called upon leaders to listen to the voicess of young people,They also advocate for the development of public libraries and recreation facilities.

King Future Nyoni who is running for Mister Africa International title which will be contested in Sierra Leone next month. 

Has been calling upon different stakeholders  in Africa to assist in building schools particular in refugee  camps. 

Stating that civil wars across Africa have played a role in erosion of Africa’s education sector. King Nyoni is conducting this campaign under the banner #togetherwecan,bringing Africa together under one community. 

MR DZIMBADZEMABWE~INTRODUCES THE GREAT ZIMBABWE AS HE CALLS FOR UNITY AMONG AFRICANS

Every name has a meaning behind the name there is history of how its existence . 

Just like every country in the world, its named after a particular incident or because of its georgraphical location. 

In the introduction of Mister Africa International Zimbabwe,delegate Future Nyoni introduced himself to the world as the King of ‘Dzimbadzemambwe’. 

Which many might have left confused on whether it was a mistake or confusion made by the award winning international  model. 

However,it wasn’t a mistake as the King was providing a summary background of where the name Zimbabwe came from. 

Dzimbadzemabwe is an ancient city  located  in Zimbabwe found in Masvingo Province. 

The city is said by historians to have been the capital city of the Royal Kingdom of Munhumutapa Kingdom, and it’d prominently  known for it’s unique wall,’The Great Zimbabwe’ which was man-built without cement or any other material.

However just unique stones,men labour, strengths and togetherness was used. 

Just like the call that is being made by Future Nyoni in his introduction video for Africa to achieve her goal,unity/togetherness gives birth  to great achievement. 

In the video he also acknowledges the importance of other delegates from other nations in his journey.

He believes that when they convey in Sierra  Leone on the 12th  of December for Mister Africa International competition. 

They will have an opportunity  to network and discuss on how they can find solutions in challenges that are being faced by Africa. 

Nyoni has been taking part in numerous charity local project, these include:working with various NGOs in Building classroom roofs in Dete;advocating for Polio immunisation  for children;visited school institutions in Victoria Falls, educating students about modeling and its challenges and how to overcome them etc. 

In the video he highlights his continental charity work proposal to the world, which is building classroom blocks in refugee camps and also supplying school studying materials in refugee  camps. And building youth hubs. 

Nyoni has pleaded with the world to join hands with him in supporting these initiatives  that will benefit the whole continent in various ways. 

A Historic recognition for Khaya

After 17 years Khaya Pardon received his international recognition .

He is reaching two decades in the world of the modeling industry, inspiring and changing the lives of many. 

Pardon Khayelihle Khanye preferably  called by many as Khaya Pardon is a name that cannot be skipped in the books of Africa’s modeling sector. 

This year has been a great year for Khaya as he received his first international recognition  for the role that he is playing in the modeling world. 

He was awarded,Outstanding Pageant Director of Miss Teen of The Universe Pageants worldwide. 

The recognition award ceremony was held in India miles away from his hometown, probably one can say the biblical statement, that a prophet has no honor in his own country. 

Khanye emerged in the modeling sector when he was a teenager in 2007 at the age of and he is now giving back to the community by play significant roles local,regional as well international in flying the country’s flag high. 

He founded one of the biggest multi-award winning  Internationa modeling agencies in Zimbabwe,’Truth Models’ 

The agency is currently a home to many Queens and Kings not only from where its foundation be gain in Bulawayo but from across the globe.  

In an exclusive interview with Khaya, he expressed how hard his journey to build such a strong career was.

Turning the page to  his future plans for his career, Khaya informed  that he is stepping aside from the world of choreography. 

He said he is looking on leaving the pageant choreography side to young people who are enthusiastic and fresh to shine. 

 “l think it’s my time to focus on directing and events co-ordinating l have done my part as a choreographer and done it well ,’as dancers will tell you a good dancer knows when to leave the stage’. 

“However now l will focus more on my pageants that l am directing which is the Teen pageants Zimbabwe ,also I will focus on awards.Pageants choreographing is not my thing anymore.l am now way to old for that small stress to add, the world has given me my flowers what more should l want,”said Khaya. 

The talented founder and Director of Truth models academy,founder and curator of the Bulawayo models awards/Bulawayo fashion week and Veteran President of Bulawayo models association organization.

To many his the voiceless especially in Bulawayo and Matabeleland region’s modeling and fashion sector.
