I saw this as a sign.Fourtunately.Africa International organisers messaged me back and informed me that I was selected amongst many other enteries. I still cannot believe this is happening

Q:How much of your input do you add to achieve the result of your modelling career?A:I work with an amazing team of photographers, content planners and managers.Although,I have a say on where the brand needs to go but at the end of the day ,it’s a team collaborated effort to take the brand far in the world ...

Q:How has it changed due to the COVID 19 pandemic?A:The industry has had,to adapt to the New ways of doing things such as introduction to the Technology and Digital Spaces. So it’s been a great challenge as not all of us are able to make the changes. But I am hoping that, young models can get the knowledge such as learning how to take good videos to send ,to clients.

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH SA’S SEXIEST UNDERWEAR MODEL !

Q:What are the pull factors that made you to select ,underwear modelling as part of your career? A:I can’t say there was a particular moment. But it just so happened that I was scouted on social media. Since then I been shooting with many experienced photographers so far such as Corne Du Plessis and Lulu Mlangeni to name a few. I work hard to keep my body fit and healthy so why not show it off.

Q:What do you love about the underwear modelling industry?A:I think I love the thrill and the challenge. With underwear shoots you have nothing else but to be brave lol. You just have to be creative, versatile and get the shot .

Q:With your experience what description or picture can you give about the industry in South Africa ?.A:Our Modelling industry is very robust and we have a great number of models who have worked overseas. Can we do it more? Of course we can and so that is my mission. I am determined to take my modelling career to International Platforms.

Q:Why did you select to work with these two brands “Kodiss Underwear “,”Mo Milk?A:Kodiss Underwear is an International brand and we are still in talks for bigger things. While MO Milk is a new campaign that advocates for being proud of the skin and body you are in. I will always represent campaigns that inspire all men of all body types to embrace and love and accept who they are.

Q:Aside from these two brands which other international underwear lines are you eyeing to be their ambassador?

A:I am hoping to get a chance and work with International brand Dolce and Gabbana or Moschino.

Q:Given an opportunity to create your own underwear line, what will you name it ?

A:Hahhahahha (laughing) .I am not sure, give me some ideas (lol). Don’t think I am selfish, ok! but I think I would call it Finch X Underwear Range.

Q:How do you manage to deal with the African conservative society, which mainly is against the industry ?A:Its a tough journey as a male model in South Africa. Precisely because I think we lack the global knowledge of all these new trends. We have a lot to unlearn, fortunately we are growing and social media is making us more open to new trends and accepting all lifestyles. I am confident our country will allow people to accept who they are and celebrate all body types.

Q:What elements do you bring in every shoot to make the picture memorable ? A:A huge dose of personality. The shoots are some times really difficult especially if you going through a a bad day. But as an International Model, your task is to ‘get the shot’ you will deal with life later. Also, ease up a little, have fun, make jokes, enjoy

Q:What advise do you have to other aspiring male models, especially those who are in a conservative community ?

Sometimes you wake up and become an International Model and sometimes you have to go to many auditions. Whatever happens, keep consistent and keep pushing away negative comments. Our Industry is only alive because of you. Your dream to become a model needs to stay as this is what will change the World. Yes, we can change traditional beliefs, Yes we will have doubt and Yes we are changing the culture one day at a time stay different, stay brave!
