Among them is Ngoni Sanchez Mpofu, a multi-award-winning model, actor, host and pageant titleholder whose growing body of work is positioning him as one of the country’s exciting young personalities to watch.

Born in Harare on 5 December 2004, Mpofu has steadily carved out a name for himself across modelling, acting, hosting and pageantry. At an age when many young creatives are still discovering their direction, he has already accumulated an impressive collection of titles and accolades, demonstrating a versatility that extends well beyond the runway.

His journey through pageantry has been particularly notable. Mpofu has represented Zimbabwe on both national and international platforms, earning the title of Mr Teen Zimbabwe 2024 before going on to become Mr Teen Universe Zimbabwe 2025. His international campaign culminated in a 3rd Runner-Up finish at the prestigious Mr Teen Universe 2025 competition.

Those achievements have been complemented by recognition within Zimbabwe’s modelling industry. He was crowned Model of the Year at the 2024/25 Kids and Teens Models Awards, while his growing portfolio has also earned him accolades including Teen Actor of the Year and Commercial Model of the Year.
But Mpofu’s ambitions have never been confined to modelling and pageantry.

FROM THE RUNWAY TO THE SCREEN
His acting career has seen him take on roles in a number of short-film productions, including My Rafiki, Breaking Point, Reflections of Sin and FAFO. Through these projects, Mpofu has demonstrated an ability to transition from the visual demands of modelling into the more nuanced world of screen performance.

One of his notable milestones came through his involvement in Dollar, an award-winning production whose cast received recognition at the National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA23).

Beyond the runway and film set, Mpofu has also established himself as a host.
