In summary this is Kudakwashe’s story,a Zimbabwe model who is currently based in Malawi.He joins us in a conversation and talks about how he is living a life of his dreams .
Q:It’s been a while since we heard from you what have you been up to?A:“I’ve been running around like a headless chicken. So busy!”

Q:Do you think your height and looks will always be an advantage when it comes to modeling and volleyball? A:Yes. In the sense that those are some of the qualities of being a model and a volleyball player. I believe that my height is unique and it definitely lies on as an advantage.

Q:What is the most unique thing about Malawi’s modeling industry? A:Business and Entertainment .
Q:They say a prophet is not appreciated in his on home town. Is that true when it’s compared to your own career back home in Zim?A:The statement might be true but I believe that everything has its own time
Someone in Zimbabwe might have a successful modeling career which I couldn’t obtain while I was in Zimbabwe
All I can say is if success is yours then it will locate you from anywhere

Q:Where do you draw your confidence when you at the ramp?A:Honestly, I love my job because I get to travel often! The locations are breathtaking and you can change the environment of your work from city to city. I believe that my travelling projects have given me immense exposure that wouldn’t have been possible in another career. Over the years, I have gotten flexible to changing environments from time to time!
Q:What are your 2023 plans?A:Speaking honestly, I prefer to live in a present moment. Plans? God, I had many. You would not believe if I told you. But sometimes I wasn’t ready to pursue them, other times destiny stepped into my way. I learned the hard way that regardless of how hard we try, we never have things fully under our control. And it doesn’t matter whether we talk about personal life, or professional career. Future plans? They only bring me anxiety. Hence for the last few years I prefer living in the moment, focusing on the task at hand, and going with the flow.




Angola was selected to host the largest male beauty contest on the African continent, Mister Africa 2022. “It is the first time in Angola, for us to host the biggest beauty contest in Africa. and Eryvaldo Reis, current Mister Africa 2021, deliver the track to his country”. The contest takes place on saturday, with the participation of candidates representing the most different African countries, 10 in total. Mister Africa International organisers and the delegates had to have face to face with the press yesterday at Angola. Questions were raised about Mister Africa International being hosted in Angola ,why this year they are few Delegetes this year. A number of delegates who dropped out of the journey due to lack sponsorhip. With some due to Visa application. Eight delegates we’re expected on the finals.Models also had an opportunity to be asked questions by the members of the press about their personal lives and gwneral















With an aim to win the title for Mister Africa International,Guinea’s representative model.Has declared that if he wins the title he is going to advocate for a clean environment in Africa and above all,he will make calls for education for all .Lack of Education which is one of the crisis faced by majority of African nation’s.
A:Can you briefly tell us about yourself?A: It is difficult to talk about myself especially in terms of quality or merit, but it’s also important to know how to speak with humility. I am Abdoulaye camara born in coyah in 1999 .I graduated in accounting and since 2017 I’m a model which is my passion
Q:What made you to take part in,Mister Africa International?A:Several reasons pushed me to join this great competition called “mister Africa international” but I can mentioned three(3)

– competitiveness: for me it is an asset to be competitive because it is useless to train permanently without knowing your strengths and weaknesses and this can only be possible by participating in a competition as gigantic as this one.
– the richness of my CV and my career: Participating in this competition is a great adventure for me because it allows me to be at the highest peak, so it is extremely important.
– satisfaction: Participating in this contest and moreover winning iy will make happy all those people who have believed in my talent for several years.
Q:What will be your main aim if you win the title?A:Once elected Mister Africa international (King of Africa) I am the bearer of an environmental project which aims to clean up cities and neighborhoods because it is not a secret, environment where we live is threatened and that threat has repercussions on our life and the future generations life.
Q:Do you believe being handsome plays a major role,in the pageant?A:Not necessarily, certainly they contribute to give a shine But, I attach a price to intellectual and inner beauty.
Q:If you given an opportunity to meet the Head Of State of your country,what woild you ask him to do for the youths?A:I will tell him make a reforms in the education system and youth unemployment which are a brake of progress.
Q:How did you prepare for the event?A:We made everything on line because we had no time to organize the event, i was selected by my agent and we followed the introduction till now .

Q:Which three African countries would you visit first?A:I would like to visit South Africa, Senegal, Ghana
With only a few days left for Angola to host 10kings of Africa ,from 10 countries from across the African continent .
Among the Kings is the well know Kwanele Thusi Finch who is popularly known by the name ‘Travellor ‘ deriving from the Traveling that he has been embarking through out his life.Thusi gained fame when,he participated In SA’s reality television programme Temptation Island .

Despite not being able to find love during the show, Thusi found love from his fans and friends and now his seeking a title for himself.

Kwanele who is making a comeback for the title,as last year he was suppose to take part in the event however due to personal reasons. Thusi is also know for being an underwear model who is not shy in front of camera.

Moments With Mister TUT~Samukelo Tala,from South Africa.With more than a half of a decade being part of the modeling Industry,Samukelo has been coronated
Q.How can you introduce yourself to the readers ?A.I’m Samukelo Tala from Thokoza Tweefontein M, South Africa. I’m well known as ‘Mentor ‘and I have been in the modeling industry for over 7 years. A dentistry student and I’m also an author. I hold multiple tittles within the pegeantry industry, they vary from local to national peagents.

Q.Congrats in winning the title, Mister Tut can you tell us more about the duties of Mister Tut?A.I am an ambassador of TUT Pretoria campus
Q.How do you handle the public feedback after your coronation? A.I reply positively to any comments coming from every direction and also on the social platforms. Lastly I don’t let the hype of popularity throw me off I’m still focused.
Q.Since you have joined the group of Kings now how are you going to handle social media traffic as you are going to gain more followers?A.I have a schedule for giving attention to my followers online. This schedule helps me juggle between my own personal life and my social media life.

Q.Have you ever exploited your good looks opportunistically?A.Yes most definitely in a number of cases.
Q.Speaking about being handsome which traits do you think made the judges to select you as the winner?A.I believe it’s got nothing to do with looks but it has everything to do with the mastery of what I was doing on stage.
Q.What is next or which title are you aiming to chase?A.I haven’t yet decided on which title to chase yet I’m still utilizing my Mr TUT title.

Q.What are the major challenges that Tut students are facing and what do you think should be the solution? A.The students have countless number of problems yet the solution is one. They need a governed body under TUT that will listen and attend to their problems.
Q.Who inspires your journey in the modeling industry?A. have a very strong family in the peagentry industry, we all work hand in hand with each other to inspire and help each other.
Q.Laslty are you a day or night person ?A.I believe I’m both a day person and a night person because I’m productive throughout the day and night.


A Come back after two years the ASFA introduced a three-day weekend summit.
A summit which allowed designers, fashionistas and others who are involved in the platform of fashion and business.
“To be a young designer navigating the markets especially after the pandemic is not easy.
“This fashion weekend is a platform for young creatives who seek futuristic opportunities to collaborate and amplify their brands or simply better understand the markets said,”Brian Ahumaza (CEO of ASFA).
The Weekend was running under the theme ‘Awakening’.

It ran from the 11th and closed until the 13th of November at Motiv.
It was a free attending event with exhibition of clothes and Question And Answer segment was among the activities.

MABWE KEEPS THE TRADITION AT MISTER AFRICA INTERNATIONAL #MAI10
Zimbabwe’s delegate to Mister Africa International has made the country proud,as he managed to reach the top 10 of the pageant.
This has been a tradition for team Zimbabwe,as the two previous contestants who participated at the pageant previously.
Made it to the top ten position of the pageant .
Tapiwa Zimhamba who opened the door for many future Zimbabwean models at Mister Africa International as the first,model to participate during the event.
He was part of the 2018 top 10 and he won,Beast Beach Body Award.

After participate at Mister Africa International in 2018, Zimhamba did not stop working with his community, especially when it comes to health matters.
He is currently known as the fitness doctor and features, at one of the most prominent radio stations Skyz Metro.

As he shares some of his methods of stating fit.
Tapiwa Zimhamba also had an opportunity to cast at one of the most popular and watched film in Southern Africa, ‘Genaration The Legacy’.

Tapiwa Zimhamba was once named as part of the top 100 Zimbabwean who are based in South Africa.
His successor,Devson Luzain populary known as Luzain Africa.
Participate at the annual event in 2021 and took the 4th position and won two medals,Brand Ambassador and Mister Friendly title.
Luzain’s legacy is marked also by preaching the gospel of fitness and engaging with a number of co-operative Organizations to change the lives of Africans.


Since he participated in the ceremony of Mister Africa International,he has stretched his model career in different sectors such as fitness,commercial modeling and acting career.
Perhaps in future he will join the music sector,just like his successor Mark Mabwe.
Mark is the current Mister Africa International Zimbabwe.
Mabwe is a multi-talented artist who ventured in the music industry and modeling.

When all was against all odds,Mabwe made it to the top 10 list.Which means he has been given a green light to fight for the title along with other nine models from other nations.
Aside from the battle of the title,Mabwe is also hoping to keep the tradition of winning some of the awards during the pageant.
Mark Mabwe’s message has been all about fighting for the rights of the boychild and to preach about mentally health.
He has also been reaching out to his community through community/charity work along side with a none governmental organizations.

Currently his a brand Ambassador of a None governmental organizations known as Abangane meaning Friends.
The finalists are being held in Angola next week from the 23rd to the 26th
