ARE YOU READY FOR THE 5TH SEASON OF MR  MACHO NIGERIA

Sesson 5 of Nigeria’s men fitness competition known as Mr Macho Nigeria is set to take part. 

Having released the top 18 finalists of the bodybuilding event’s 2023.

This year the winner will get an opportunity to represent Nigeria at the African Championshipin September in Ghana.

Mr Macho Nigeria is in partnership  with the one of the world’s biggest body building platforms.

“We are glad to announce our new partnership with Wabba International. Wabba is one of the biggest body building platforms in the world and we are glad to announce the winner this year will be representing Nigeria at the African championship in Sept in Ghana’  Sewa Macho the director of the show,”said the organiser.

The competition has added a new format and the event has been split into two . The qualifiers and the champions night. 

The qualifiers will be held on the 18th of August in Làgos and 5 gold medalist will be selected. Once you receive  a gold medal, you have the opportunity to compete at any Wabba event. 

The 5 gold medal list will go head to head and battle it out for the one title of the Mr Macho Nigeria on the 20th of August in Lagos Nigeria 

Aside the chance to compete at the African muscle show , the new winner automatically gets positioned as one of the biggest influencer in the country and lands a year management deal that gives him access to the hottest shows, premieres and closed castings . 

He also lands a cover with Fitfam Africa magazine , fitness portfolio with Albert Ogunde Studios and many more opportunities worth millions of naira

I WORKED WITH PRIDE IN MY HEART ALONG THE TRIBE AFRIC FASHION BRAND

Having his skills molded at,Theatre Academy in Kwamashe (KCAP) under the wings of Mr Edmund Mhlongo.

The 25 year old South African dancer  Khayalethu Mbili strives to shine in the world of arts industry as he hopes to find his on space in the international platform of arts. 

Born and breed in Kwazulu Natal  (Durban) trained to be a future soccer star,that didn’t stop the talent within him to manifest it’s self of being one of the best dancers to ever come out of KZN. 

As a number of opportunities for him to headline events during hid hey-days at school in the arts and entertainment.However during his journey he faced financial challenges, his teachers believed in his dream and vowed to support him. 

When my father introduced me to soccer.I spent most of my time naturally graviting towards performing art,I knew that I wanted nothing more than to peruse a career in performing arts.I used to participate in every entertainment activity that happened at my school.

When questioned why he joined theater,his response was theater its a platform that allows him to tell his and other people’s stories to the world.

Theater influences the way we think,and feel about our on lives,it forces us to examine ourselves,our values and behaviors.

It has helped me to express myself through telling the stories about my own life and the lives of others,which has made it easier when i get television casting opportunities, for I get to apply the skills and techniques learnt from the theatre’s perspective which enhances the character biography,emotions and relationships,”said Mbili.

In the year 2019,Khaya broke the ice when he stepped  into his first audition for ‘Joey Hunter’ from the IMTA (International modeling and talent Association in NewYork and Independent casting director at Tyler Perry studios),Rhayvnn Drumer where he was casted to attend a two weeks training programme in NewYork.

However with the rise of Covid19 fhe journey had to be put on hold. 

Khaya’s promince grew bigger and he gained many followers in the year 2021,when he performed his first musical performance, was “Music in the air-the musical” while Maria gospel musical was second .He also casted for,’Sarafina the Broadway’. 

The 25 year old dancer said despite the growth of his popularity  and dance curriculum vital.

He has faced pressure from the public that has once led him to depression, leading him to leave his neighborhood and migrating into another city. 

Sometime ago i had to move away from neighborhood  because I was experiencing alot of pressure from my community.There was a point, I was diagnosed with depression,”he said. 

He praised his mentors and some of those whom he worked with,stating that it was through them that his journey is a success.  

“I have worked with  wellknown artists for their music videos, school shows,pageants which are all recognised international. This wouldn’t have happened  without obtaining knowledge from the best choreographers. Tshediso Khobulo,Lucky Cele,C Ngema,Sandile Mkhize,Steven Chauke,Musa Hlatshwayo and other’s.  

“Without me grasping a little from these amazing choreographers i wouldn’t have  had the knowledge and skills that I have now though I also feel i still need more choreography and technique training,informed Mbali. 

Khaya suggested that for the arts industry to grow in Africa, the industry should educate the public on the importance when it comes to theatrical arts and empty its network,access to expertise  and resources beyond its traditional base and in the service of the longer arts community.

Khaya who also is a duo talented dancer and model catwalked for The Tribe Afric’ a fashion brand co founded by Blessed Moyo and Munyaradzi Gutu.

The fashion brand advocates for the rights of all,their designs are unisex. khaya who was among models who were in the photoshoot of The Tribe Afric’ latest collection said the mixture of colours that were used in the collection was a painted picture of representing human beings from all tribes ,cultures, sexuality and races.
