Q.You are part of the winners of the ‘best bodygod’, why is fitness modeling so important to you?A:For a very long time I didn’t know what my purpose in life was. I have chased different career lines ranging from medicine, to banking job (2 years experience) to even lecturing as a fresh university graduate.I never attempted the military because of some past experiences. I realized what I wanted to be during my NYSC camp orientation, where everyone already knew where they fitted in, in regards to camp activities, I was handpick to join calisthenics. It was weird at first because I was slim yet picked amongst other thicker guys. During the course of the trainings for presentation, I found out this was something I did with so much passion that’s where I decided I should go into fitness not even as a career but for fun. Somehow, with so much more effort and dedication down the line I’m now a fitness trainer. After going into fitness journey, I realized that modeling which was an afterthoughts was something i could pursue. So far receiving positive feedbacks from people has inspired me to take on the challenges that modelling presents.
I did my research on what it might take to be an outstanding model, height, physique, charisma, character, interpersonal communication skill. And i constantly trained myself with dedication, consistency to match these criteria while waiting for an opportunity to present itself. The drive to be a model is what made me transform my physique into what it is now. I may lack the technical know how on what it takes to be a model because I haven’t officially worked as one, but I’m confident that I’m up to the task even if it means learning on the job. I see myself progressing because it is more of passion for me than a means of survival.Aside from the physical attributes which was consciously built. It’s the satisfaction I got from modeling for myself. The satisfaction that came with being a symbol of dedication, hardwork, hope, patient, consistency, discipline and commitment And That’s not something you can buy. It’s passion.
Q:what influenced you to take part in Mister Ideal Nigeria?A:Aside from the fame and fortune it comes with secondarily. My primary inspiration is self expression.
Expressing myself and conveying messages in a way that people can relate with, letting them know that they aren’t alone in whatever it is they are dealing with.My inspiration is inherent.Basically my goal as a model is to serve, to have an amplified voice that reaches those who are finding it difficult to stay fit, those who are battling with low esteem letting them know that they can be whatever they want to be as long as they are ready to work for it.I choose Mr Ideal Nigeria because I see her as the perfect platform to build my modeling career and express myself in the light that I may inspire others to lead a fit and healthy life.
