BFW is set to revive the fashion sector in Bulawayo.
The modeling industry is viewed as one of Bulawayo’s dominating and fast growing industry.
However despite the city having managed to win a number of pageant titles.
Bulawayo has witness a few fashion runway fashion shows.
This has played a push factor role to some models within the city as well as the designers,to migrate to Harare (the capital city) and in other countries mainly South Africa.
The Bulawayo Models Association working hand in hand with the city of Bulawayo’s fashion and modeling residents to revive the industry by establishing, Bulawayo Fashion Week show.
The fashion show is set to be hosted on the 14th until the 16th of December under the theme, ‘Operation Restore Legacy’.
BFW is set not only to be a benefit to local models only but to fashion designers,Make Up Artists as well as musicians.
In an exclusive interview with of of the members of Bulawayo Models Association,Pardon Khaya Khanye. He informed that the chiefly purpose of this fashion event is to bring back the status of the city in the world of Fashion.
“The main purpose of the Byo Fashion Week is to bring back the legacy and respect to the Bulawayo Fashionistas who had lost respect,”said Khaya.

He further advised both fashion designers and models to bring their A game as the show will be attended by people from different sectors.
BFW will be hosted hand in hand with the 2nd edition of Bulawayo Models Awards.
