MEET MULTI-TALENTED ARTIST POGWANE JULIUS TSEBE

From modelling,to directing in Theater and being a business enteprenuer it keeps one busy.However the most common denominator in all these sectors is to work hard and rest.We interact with South African,multi talented artist,Pogwane Julius on how he manages his diary and how the society has supported him especially in terms of modelling underwear sector.

Q.Can you introduce yourself and give us a briefly background  of your bio?A.My name is Pogwane Julius Tsebe.I possess a degree in Transportation/logistics management.I’ve been doing a lot of sports wear as a model for skipper bar as well as Hector’s underwear modelling. I recently been in production for TV and Film as part of SHAKA ilembe which is coming out this year. Besides this I have been assisting with International work for dance festivals .

Q.When did it struck you that modelling is part of your life and career?A.Just after high school, I think it was mid 2016 when I fell in love with modelling and found it very fascinating. I found that it was interesting to be infront of the camera to tell a story. 

Q.Who or what is your inspiration in the modelling industry?A.I am inspired by Kwanele Finch Thusi because he is very driven and he is very good at his craft. I didn’t know that South African Models can actually make it in the international scene before I met Finch.

Q. What do you love about your modelling journey?A.Traveling has been a good experience in the industry and I have developed confidence in my modelling by being in shoots with different photographers. It also boost your confidence and I love it. 

Q.Do you believe working out is one of the main advantages of modelling especially  in this era?A.Yes, modelling inspires people to be the best version of themselves and yes, having a great body makes good impression and working out is one of the things that attracts peoples attention and interest 

Q.You are both a photogenic and a underwear model.In Africa not everyone has accepted  the underwear modelling industry.Is your own community (friends and family) supporting  your career?A.100%,yes they do support me which is not usually especially  in our African society to receive such support. I am grateful . 

Q.Aside from modelling you have toured across Europe can you tell us more about the tour?A.I was involved in a theatre production for Afrovibes Festival on which I toured the whole of Europe. Besides modelling, I am interested in doing work behind the scenes and I worked as a project director in Europe.

Q.Last year what was your finest greatest  moment during your journey?A.Europe was a great experience and I was overwhelmed by the level of professionalism and service that I received there. I was able to receive lots of work opportunities because I was in Europe and this elevated my career. 

Q.Back to your modelling career, what are major expectations  of the year 2023?A.This year I hope to get into alot of TV shows and run the catwalk. I have entered Mr Africa SA and this is a great opportunity to sharpen my skills as a model and mentor. I want my company to also grow and help alot of people, its called Nqobo Tsebe Arts Academy, and I am looking forward to traveling more.

Q.When not infront of the camera,modelling or working out what will you be up to ?A.I  focus on growing my company since its a major part of my life, I wish to also partner with skincare organizations because I am interested in educating other people about looking after themselves .
