Q. Briefly can you tell us about yourself?
A.My name is Djodjo Israel Bomassa, born in Congo, made in Namibia, i am 23 years old, I’ve to different personally one is Israel and the another Djodjo, Israel is passianant about football Djodjo loves modelling, just to speak about boldy about Djodjo, Djodjo is hardworking, driven and never accepts defeat, Djodjod goes until at the end
Q. You are from Congo but you reside in Namibia,what makes the two cultures come together and how do you manage to bring your two roots in the modeling industry?
A.As i said eaelier born in Congo but made in Namibia, almost my whole life I’ve lived in Namibia, Namibia has made me, i sell myself out there as a Namibian but not also forget where i come from, I’ll love the western world to know all that DRC has to offer in the modelling industry
Q. Recently you became the face of MN creations’s underwear collection. What did it mean to you to work with such a unique brand?
A.Working with MN meant so much for me, it was a dream come true, it’s was a great privilege, MN aligns with my brand and i was truly humble to be given the opportunity to
Q.Speaking about brands this year you catwalked at Windhoek fashion week, whose brand did you wore through out the ramp?
A.Windhoek fashion week was so big this year, i catwalked for more than 5 designers and all their outfits were so beautiful, each and everyone of them brought the best in me
Q. Do you believe that Africa’s modeling sector has a lot to catch up in terms of international standards?
A.Yes we are to catch up, especially in the Southern part of Africa, many a times we see models from the Western part of Africa grace the runaway for major brands like Gucci, Dior and so many more, but i believe we’ll get there it’s Just a matter of time, hard work and dedication from us.
Q.what always comes to your mind when you are infront of a camera?
A:Infront of the camera i always want to give it my maximum best knowing that the world is watching me, on the runway its even world, best as a professional model you have to own the runway
Q.Given an opportunity to catwalk at London fashion week which two brands wuld you work week?
A.My dream is always to grace my talent in paris and Milan fashion week, but in london i would love to work for Victoria Beckham and Burberry
Q.What makes you different from other model?
A.I am the defination is art, me and my work as art is yet to be seen in the world, soon the whole world will know about me
