South African based model,John Sithembiso Reed, from Mpumalanga outshined during Mpumalanga Design Week as he catwalked for a number of local and international brand.
John said,he is grateful for the opportunity that he along with other models were given to showcase their talent,during the Mpumalanga Design Week which was hosted last month.
Among the brands that he wore, was the Afrophoenix which is being headed by Zimbabwean designer, Blessing.
“The experience to participate at Mpumalanga Design Week,it gave me an opportunity to meet different people from different works of lives.It was also an opportunity for me to connect with other models and learn somethings about the industry. we
“The more you explore to people the more you grow,”he said.
John further informed,that taking part as a model it becomes an added advantage to him especially into his acting career.
The 26 year old and multi-talented model,has featured in South Africa’s popular education daily film, ‘Skeem Sami’ and other dramas .
He believes that since the day,he participated in the show he has gained more knowledge and confidence within the arts industry.
He praised the designers ,whose brand he catwalked for during the event.
John stated out that his into semi-formal wear however during the show he had an opportunity of wearing a suit which gave him a second feeling about the positive side of wearing a suit.
He also said, his dream is to work with international brands such as:Tom Ford,Icoin Agency,Addidas among others.
