15 contestants from Nigeria were contesting for the Misters of Nigeria title which is described as the most coveted Male crown in Nigeria. More than 1500 potential contestants had applied with the hope of becoming Mister of Nigeria.
The 15 finalists were camped at the Swiss international Beland Hotel,Owerri up until the day of coronation.
Shamsudeen Idris who derives from Kano state was declared the winner of the evening.He has a bachelors degree in International Relations from Ahmadu Bello University,Zaria.In addition his an athlete and an activist.
He won prizes valued 4 million Naira

3rd runner up-Olime Spencer
The 4 have earned a right to contest for any of the following pageants:Mister Global;Mister Model International,Manhunt,Caballero Universal.
