
The year 2021 is the year when the world and everything in it was placed under lockdown , event shows were closed, thanks to the technology some events were hosted digital .
As time went by the world began to open up from the lockdown.
The pageant industry is among the industries that were affected during the lockdown .
However this didn’t stop Zimbabwe male models to make history in International platforms as they had to attend the event either physical or using digital platforms .
Among Zimbabwe’s make models who have placed the country’s flag in International platforms .
The multi-award winning model who is also know as the King of Runway,Shadel Noble won Mr Globe Africa title when he participated digital for Mister Globe and became the first runner up during the pageant .
This was the first International pageant that the former Mister Zimbabwe took part in .
Speaking about Mister Zimbabwe, Devson Luzane another former Mister Zimbabwe participated in Mister Africa International .
He won the 4th position and became the 3rd runner up of the title Mister Africa International .
Luzane also walked away with Mr Friendly and Brand Ambassador title .
The Mister Africa International title was contested in Ivory Coast in September .
Zimbabwe’s fitness model who is currently based in South Africa,Anthony Sikanadze contested for the Mister World South Africa title, he became the first runner up title and he will be representing South Africa during Mr Grand International.
Ben Chest and Panashe Murandu contested for Mister Glam International title, unfortunately none of them won the title however they won gongs
Panashe walked away with Best Personality and and 3rd runner up for the Best Introduction video .
And Multi-Award winning model, Bernard Ndlovu aka Ben Chest was awarded:Best Vogue and Best Elegance Awards.
Last but not least ,Zimbabwean model Saymore Machoni contested for Man of the Earth title, which was hosted virtual .
Saymore took the 4th position automatically making him the 3rd runner up of the pageant.
They are a number of Zimbabwe’s male models who have catwalked or contested in International pageants .
History will tell that 2021 was the year Zim’s male models broke the tradition as they brought titles back home .
