Mister Model Nigeria pageant organisers recently announced the winner of the best Pet Project, the winner is Clinton Nnaji. In an interaction with the winner ,he provides an insight about his project . During a conversation with Clinton we get to know more about his personality.

Q:Clinton Nnaji it’s a pleasure having you.How has your road at the Mister Model Nigeria been ?
A:My journey thus far in the MMN Pageant has been everything challenging, mentally stimulating and boundary pushing.
As each task would demand a different version of your personality but I have grown, expanded my capacity and built really great friendship this far. I’m glad I decided to do this enjoying every experience.
Q:What has stood out for you so far?
A:I think that would be the Neutrality from MMN Management and the entire team. As every result, every score and task activity has always been transparently put together since the start of the competition and I admire that a lot.
Q:You won Pet project . can you explain what the project was all about ?
A:My Pet project proposal was aimed at Promoting Quality Education in Northern Nigeria through capacity building Clubs within Public High schools in Abuja, Nigeria.
As I’m really passionate about helping students most especially young adults build their self esteem and confidence level by leveraging their unique strengths both personally, socially and academically
Q:What lessons did you learnt from the project ?
A: I think the lesson I took out was that regardless of how passionate you might be about a cause, you must be deliberate, strategic and in unequivocal terms be able to spell out the Impact you intend to make and the demography of your beneficiaries respectively. It would save you time, energy and resources in soliciting for potential partners and sponsors .
Q:You are one of the front runners in the pageant. What do you think has placed you to be part of the front runners?
A: I think that would be credited to my competitive spirit and drive to standout in everything. But more importantly, I believe it’s how I make a conscious & deliberate efforts to amplify my strengths in all that I do both personally & professionally in this competition.
Q:Who is your Inspiration?
A:My inspiration is My mother. She is everything and more in every sense of my life. By simply watching her hustle & thriving to make her children and those around her equally comfortable with the little she had speaks volume of her heart and that has played a huge part in the man I’m committed to becoming on a daily. God bless her gentle soul.
Q:If you win the pageant what will it mean to your career ?
A:Winning MMN would be a plus to my career not just as a model but also has a social worker too. As it would strategically position my personal brand and amplify my goals and ambition for upcoming models both personally & professionally. But more importantly, it gives me a certain level of credibility to work with & represent more advanced brands and agencies internationally.
Q:Laslty besides modeling what else does Clinton do ?
A:Apart from being a model, I’m also a Upcycle Fashion Designer and Social worker. I run my own clothing line ( Marclin.ng) where we turn Upcycle old clothes into new ones and also run my NGO ( Voice of Motivation Initiative ) which is aimed at Promoting & projecting Quality Education across Nigeria.
