SA Men’s Wear Week is regarded as one of the biggest fashion week’s in Southern Africa and across the globe.
Last year the show was postponed in February and had to be held in July 29th to the 31st .
The SA Men’s Wear week is a traditional fashion show which takes place almost twice in a year .
Bring fashionistas,photographers,models,designers from across the globe .
Some economist viewed it as one of the key players in the economy industry in South Africa.
Last year unlike any other year since it’s establishment in 2015,everyone was provided a front row sit at their personal settings.
This was due to the COVID 19 pandemic which had played a major role for the postponment of the event .
Not everyone was allowed in the auditorium of the event for the first time only the camera crew and designers,make up artists and the models were in the arena.
Those who were in the auditorium had to practice social distancing,wearing of masks and also to sanitize their hands.
Designers who had taken part in last year’s season were:SPCc,Quiteria,Throwaway,AM Creations,Imprint ,Neo Serati.
Previous ,fashion designers who had been viewed by the show’s audiences as residential designers include :Tokyo James,Kidd Hunt,Thobby Cooper ,Laduma Maxhosa ,Craig Port and Arakani.
The SA Men’s Wear Week was co-founded by Ryan Beswisck.
Last year many followers of the event,had high hopes that the show might go back to it’s normality where audiences will be able to mingle and network one another,under the same roof.
However COVID is still with us,and the many question to the lovers of the show, is the event going to commence on the 7th to the 9th.
The date which was scheduled for it to begin or a postponment announcement will be made .
