Gareth Ruswa who goes by the name Jungleworldwide is a Zimbabwean model.Who is ready to climb any mountain in the modelling industry,to show the world how talented he is.
Gareth believes that,for one to succeed in the modelling industry there is need to believe in yourself and to work hard.
In an exclusive moment with Gareth he information us,how his life changed when he joined the City’s Favourite Models Agency and also he shares with us one of his main fashion show he hopes to take part in .
TR:When did you discover that you can make a career by becoming part of the modelling industry ?
GR: I’m fortunate to have been raised in a family and community that had quite a large number of successful models,so it was relatively easy for me to learn the trade due to the people I was rubbing shoulders with from an early age and for that I’m grateful to my environment.
TR:You are part of the CFM agency,why did you join the agency ?
GR:CFM is the best modelling agency in Zimbabwe, soon to be Africa.
I trust their process ,so hey! What could have stopped me to sign with them.
TR:How was your modelling career before you joined the agency and what lessons have you learnt from the agency since you became part of it?
GR:To be honest I didn’t have much of a Modelling career before CFM .
I was just doing (shows) gigs because I look good infront of the camera and I look good in nice things .
Also a lot of my colleagues are designers and are into arts so collaborating made a lot of sense at the time .
However now I need to get paid,so we (my family) all eat. All in all CFM taught me to value myself.
TR:What advise do you have from other models who are looking for an agency ?
GR:4.Modeling is maybe 40% of looking good on camera, the rest is all about how quickly you’re willing to learn and adapt.
TR:If given a moment in a runway which fashion show would you take part in ?
GR:African Fashion International
TR:What are your main goals that you want to achieve as a model?
GR:I want to make people ,that I’m blessed to make contact with, to understand that they’re dreams and are obtainable and also that knowing and being confident in yourself will take you far in this journey of life.
TR:Travelling is a life style of models,which 3 countries would you travel to an why them ?
GR:Ethiopia , Jamaica and England
TR:Besides being a model what do you do?
GR:By profession I’m a marketer but I’m also a musician, actorand a serial entrepreneur.
